ROYSTON, JR., born Pittsburgh, PA, July 9, 1953; admitted to bar 1979, Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania; 1981, Florida and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. Education: University of Pittsburgh (J.D. 1979); Pennsylvania State University (B.A. with honors 1975); continuing legal education in real property, business, tax and commercial litigation topics. Practice: Partner with the law firm of Costello & Royston, LLC. since 1985, practiced in Lee County since 1983. Areas of practice are Corporate and Commercial transactions, Real Property transactions and General Commercial and Contract Litigation. Certified as a Circuit Civil Mediator with the Florida Supreme Court, February of 1995. Member: Florida Bar Association; U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; Lee County Bar Association, Florida Business Brokers Association, Attorneys Title Insurance Fund, Inc.

EXPERIENCE: General corporate, business transactions and real estate transactions constitute approximately seventyfive percent of the practice. The balance is commercial litigation. Authorized agent for title insurance with Attorneys Title Insurance Fund. Experience in closing complex commercial real estate and business transactions in excess of $1,000,000.00, including 1031 exchange transactions, tax free reorganizations and stock and asset acquisitions.
